3:10 to Yuma Gunslingers

Our newly formed Cowboy Fast Draw matches are up and running. We shoot the third Sunday of the month.

Cowboy Fast Draw is a rapidly growing shooting sport. We shoot 45 caliber single action pistols and use Mexican loop holsters. We shoot wax bullets propelled by a shotgun primer. The targets are 24” in diameter and 15 to 21 feet away. A light in the center of the target comes on tells the shooter to draw and fire which is timed in thousands of a second. We dress in cowboy clots to keep the spirit of the old west.

We are a division of Yuma MatchMasters Shooting Club and affiliated with the Cowboy Fast Draw Association (CFDA). A new member needs to join both.
